About this event

For Public and Civil Servants Only

At the heart of the Collective is a community centred around climate, but we can’t maintain that community with slack alone. Many of us value the chance to talk to others interested in, working on or concerned about the Climate and Biodiversity Crisis; about the challenges, the opportunities, what is likely to be, what could be if groups like us can work together.

The only outcome we need from these sessions is for CfCA members to have a space to talk about climate and try to better make some sense of this expansive and complicated hyper-object through sharing things we hear, see and read about it; good and bad.

All are welcome so please come along, sessions aren't recorded; you can dial in on your phone if you are out and about or you can join the video call, it's up to you.

What is the Collective for Climate Action? The Collective for Climate Action is a staff-led initiative made up of people from across government civil servants and public servants. We work to elevate the voice of Climate across government and generate reflection and action on the Climate emergency and ecological crises. We want to provide a vehicle for government staff to contribute their vast range of skills, ideas, knowledge, passion and energy to this issue, and to encourage dialogue across government through a online community which is supported by critical friends for anyone in any role at any level. We do this in a way that explores different ways of working collectively in service of the environment.
