Special guests - Ann Pettifor and Barry Gardiner

Ann Pettifor will discuss her book "The Case for a Green New Deal" and tell us what we need to do to change our economic structures in order to save our planet. Hint: It's wholly possible!

Barry Gardiner is a Labour MP and is Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change. He will talk about the current Labour policies and the international nature of the challenges ahead.

Conference in a nutshell

The event is designed as an opportunity to both showcase Labour policy with the local community and to provide a platform for wider engagement and potential collaboration on local campaigning and action
