About this event
Do you work in a storytelling and/or content role in sports programming? Do you want a better understanding of sustainability and how it can be reflected in the narratives you create? This 90-minute workshop is for you.
As well as building a foundational understanding of the climate and nature crises, you will learn how to incorporate sustainability into your storytelling and learn why audiences want to hear these stories. This training is best suited for industry professionals in sports television working in editorial roles such as researcher, producer or director.
In this interactive session, you will discuss common roadblocks and workshop solutions as well as learn from other industry professionals in similar roles to you.
After completing the 90-minute session, you will receive a Climate Onscreen Workshop: Sports certificate, badge, and details of further support available in this area.
This certificate is accepted as evidence of having completed editorial training for the BAFTA albert Carbon Action Plan when completed by a senior member of the editorial team. [Question: Has someone senior in the editorial/creative team been to editorial training on sustainability?]
Please note that the content of this training is designed for UK audiences.
Please note that this is an onscreen editorial workshop, for production teams have a look at our Sustainability Workshop: Sports Production.
BAFTA albert makes every effort to ensure our trainings are accessible to all. Please contact alberttraining@bafta.org if you have any questions or would like to discuss the access adjustments available for albert Academy trainings.
