Coastal Climate Conversations: A Climate Resilience Walk in the Mevagissey Catchment
🗓 Saturday, 16th May 2026 | ⏰ 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Meet at Lobb’s Farm Shop & Café, Mevagissey
Join us for a unique, thought-provoking walk through the beautiful Mevagissey Catchment as we explore how local landscapes and communities are responding to climate change. “Coastal Climate Conversations” will focus on resilience, natural flood management, and how each of us can play a role in building a climate-adapted future.
🌿 What to Expect:
- Discover Local Stories: Learn how Richard Lobb worked with Climate Vision in 2022 to plant a herbal ley, enhancing ecosystem services and helping to reduce flood risk in Mevagissey.
- Explore Natural Flood Management Projects: Hear from Westcountry Rivers Trust staff about the innovative “Climate Resilient Mevagissey” project and their plans for future flood resilience.
