During 2022 the topics for standardisation will be advice and guidance surrounding the role of the clinical coach;

• Teaching a skill

• Undertaking observation assessments

• Recording skills in the CSL

These sessions will be primarily run by our internal quality assurance team, Hil Varlow RVN and Juliet Whatley RVN. You will also have the chance to ask any questions or speak with Sam/Kirsty during each of these events.

Sessions will be a mixture of online and in-person events, to hopefully suit everyone, see the details below:

• Thursday, 10th March, 6 pm, via Zoom
• Monday, 16th May, 10 am, at Abbeydale Vet Nurse Training in Monmouth
• Wednesday, 13th July, 2 pm, via Zoom
• Tuesday, 20th September, 6 pm, at Abbeydale Vet Nurse Training in Monmouth
• Wednesday, 9th November, 6 pm, via Zoom

Each event will last approximately 2-hours and a CPD certificate will be issued after the session.

Please note it is a mandatory requirement for all active coaches to show some CPD on clinical coaching each year, either by attending standardisation, retraining or attending a congress session on coaching.
