Event description

Description

Have you recently qualified as a mental health first aider? Are you wondering how you will cope when people start seeking you out in that capacity? Have you already spoken to someone and realised that you've got no where to go to talk about your experience?

North East Counselling Services want to keep mental health first aiders safe by offering clinical supervision to groups of mental health first aiders. The group will be facilitated by an experienced clinical supervisor who works regularly with our counsellors. They will help you think about some of the situations you have been in and help you explore coping mechanisms. There will also be a great opportunity to learn from other members of the group.

Attendence at the group is free to anyone who completed their mental health first aid training with North East Counselling Services and £15 for people who have not trained with us.

Each group session lasts for 90 minutes and the group size will be limited so everyone gets the opportunity to explore what they need to.
