Event description

Are you a clinical lead, aspiring clinical director from Primary Care, Community Care or a hospital setting in Waltham Forest? If yes, you are invited to apply for a free place on a clinical leadership programme, part of the local WF Quality Improvement and Resilience programme.

Introduction to Clinical Leadership Programme

The aim of this programme is to secure change leadership, and systems leadership across Waltham Forest, particularly in securing the contextual conditions across Waltham Forest for new models of primary care to develop.

This is likely to require changes in the way clinicians operate, and the relationship between primary and secondary care, between practices, and between clinicians within practices. This programme is provided for clinical leaders across the system who have a passion for and commitment to wider change. The programme will be focusing on developing professional clinical leadership.

We are inviting clinical leaders from across Waltham Forest who are;

• Passionate about health and social care, and the future of primary care in Waltham Forest

• Committed to tackling the system-wide issues we are facing

• Have a wider perspective on local issues (understand the context and want to shape it)

From a diverse group (gender, locality, ethnicity, experience)

• From across all localities, and a range of practice sizes.

2. How we nurture and support our younger, up and coming clinical leaders

3. Our work together on pathways

4. The efficacy and impact of Fed Net

5. Our partnership with Whipps Cross, particularly the clinical relationships

6. Our partnership with NELFT particularly the collaborative pathway work we need to do.
