This event is planned because respondents to the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) Primary Care Training Needs Analysis (TNA) 2021/22 suggested the topic as a local training need.
This is event is for staff working in Primary Care in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire
This event intends to enable participants to understand the requirements to be a Clinical Supervisor
Target audience
This free event is aimed at primary care colleagues who are involved in clinical supervision of new additional roles and existing nursing staff.
NB: Please register with your nhs.net email where possible. If the event is oversubscribed, priority may be given to those who have registered with NHS addresses.
Outcomes include:
- To describe the breadth of clinical supervision.
- To apply educational theory to clinical supervision.
- To compose a de-brief and tutorial.
- To apply feedback models
- To be aware of workplace based assessments.
- To manage colleagues in difficulty.
Key message for the session
We may all be able to supervise our colleagues BUT can we always do it better!
