Karen Barker, Associate Professor in Physiotherapy - NDORMS, University of Oxford will talk about bone health and adherence to exercises / acceptability of different strategies used to monitor adherence to exercise arms in clinical trials.
Cushla Cooper, Research Manager, Surgical Intervention Trials Unit, University of Oxford will explain how patients and the public have worked with us to design clinical trials. The role of patients and the public in surgical research has proved beneficial, from children's fingernail injuries to broken legs in adults, patients have affected how we design and manage clinical research.
