Close Up V: Instagram + The Changing Landscape of Photography
Tue 11 April 2017, 18:30 – 21:00 BST
Close Up V will focus on our obsession (and loathing) of the photo sharing platform Instagram – we’ll be investigating how photographers perceive and approach the platform while also using it within their practice and not just as an online profile. We’ll hear from photographers, influencers and agents on the topic and also give the floor to you guys to share your opinion.
Our wonderful line up of talented speakers include:
- Kim Leuenberger Travel & Lifestyle photographer
- Jess Angell Instagram Consualtant & Influencer
- Anna-Maria Pfab founder & Director of Kiosk Photographic agency
- Joanne Coates -our current Mentorship winner, discussing her editorial projects such as In Plight of The Fishermen and outlining the rest of the year with The OGC.
For Close Up V we are very excited to be working with the wonderful Gallery Six and hosting the talk in their wonderful studio space. Gallery Six is a new initiative by The Old Truman Brewery; an engaging workspace specifically for first year BA graduates. Members of Gallery Six can use the space to develop personal projects, to collaborate on in-house Truman projects and to collaborate with each other!
We are also delighted to be working with Metro Imaging again – London’s premier photographic print and framing lab and are extremely grateful for their continue support.
