Closer To Love
A year later, she is closer to her true love – art.
Europe House will be hosting the debut solo exhibition in London by Karolin Ott.
Closer to Love is a personal identity struggle between an artist and a young woman, dividing herself between different roles, and finding a way to become a professional artist.
Karolin Ott is a London-based emerging young Estonian artist whose works have been exhibited in Estonia and internationally. Previous exhibitions included This Is What I Am (June 2014), a collaboration of artworks presented in London alongside other emerging Estonian artists.
Her exhibition in Helsinki, March 2014, entitled “Olohuonenäyttley” (trans. Living Room Exhibition), showed Karolin’s work in a nonconventional setting, mainly someone’s living room.
Karolin’s works can also be seen via her webpage: www.carxa.net
Gabo Manchano Gallery (www.gabomanchano.com) is a new pop-up exhibition series, dedicated to the introduction of promising Estonian artists and their talent.
As part of the opening night there will be an art talk with music accompanied by a reception of wine and snacks.
Exhibition organiser: Gabo Manchano Gallery supported by the Embassy of Estonia in London and European Commission/Europe House.
