Closing Event – one student and his dreams of a Ferrari
A closing event to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 including an announcement of the winning ideas from the beermat challenge and prize giving.
The closing event will begin with an keynote talk by Anthony Chesworth, MD of EKM Systems, the UK’s number one internet solutions company, powering 1 in every 5 online shops in the UK.
Anthony and EKM Systems have won several awards including ‘Business of the Year’, ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and ‘Best use of eBusiness’. Antony graduated from Lancaster University in 2002 and will provide a few thoughts on his time at Lancaster, why he decided to start his own business, the challenges he has faced and the lessons he has learned.
- These events are for students or graduates of Lancaster University only, they are not open to members of the public. A sign in sheet will be used for every event to record details of attendees.
