Closing the Gaps together: Towards a Circular Economy in Greater Manchester
Event Information
About this Event
REDUCES project is a consortium of organisations across 6 European countries aiming to assist in the drive towards a Circular Economy across regions, including Greater Manchester.
Circular Economy impacts on a wide range of strategic priorities in Greater Manchester, including Education, Employment, Economic Development, Communities, Environment, Housing, Health and Transport and we recognise that in order to achieve our CE goals we need to plan our future actions together to satisfy different needs.
Key findings will be shared from the Status Quo Report of the Circular Economy in Greater Manchester 2020. The document sets out policies, barriers, challenges and opportunities for driving forward the transition to a Circular Economy in Greater Manchester.
At this event we invite you as key stakeholders, to participate and discuss the findings to help identify a series of key actions, to achieve circularity for GM. These might include targeted action on for example: Education and skills / CE specific business support .
REDUCES also focuses on identifying operational business models which are delivering circularity. We will present a number of case studies which fall under the key CE themes and will also invite you to share yours.
