Join us on the 29th of June 2017 for a thought-provoking and inspiring conference full of great ideas to help you ‘Close the Literacy Gap’ and achieve the best outcomes for all pupils, regardless of their starting points.

The conference will offer senior leaders, teachers, TAs, literacy advisors, librarians and anyone involved with children’s literacy development in primary or secondary education, a valuable CPD opportunity with a packed programme of expert speakers, engaging workshops, relevant exhibitors and professional networking.

The keynote speakers are Education Consultant and Writer Matt Bromley, award-winning author Andy Seed, Dr Paula Clarke of the University of Leeds, Deborah Bullivant ,Director of Grimm & Co, Rachel Van Riel of Opening the Book and Reading Matters.

Workshops are available to suit all interests including SEN, EAL, phonics, comics and authors in schools and local author Tom Palmer will deliver a workshop in conjunction with reluctant reader specialist publisher Barrington Stoke.
