Clothes Mend and Natter at Northfields Library

All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance sewing skills, there’s always something new to share or learn. We will have patching and darning guides, sewing equipment, mending books and samples to inspire and get you started.

Bring along clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items.

Also the Duchess, our hand powered singer sewing machine will be available to use. It sews beautifully and quietly too. Available for simple repairs and sewing projects. If in demand will be limited to 15 mins slots.

We ask for a small donation, £4 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.
