About this event

Join ReFab for an evening of fashion and fun! We'll be swapping clothes and enjoying refreshments, all whilst supporting sustainable fashion.

Attendees should feel free to bring between 4 and 6 items of clean, good quality clothing and accessories to swap.

Refreshments and snacks are included in the ticket price, or you can BYOB to enjoy with friends!

Doors will open from 6.30pm, please arrive with your items to swap by 7pm. You can then relax with a drink while our team get the 'shop' ready for swapping from 7.30pm.

A raffle will be drawn just before the event finishes at 9pm.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring to swap?

You can bring any style of clothing to swap - formal, casual, workwear, activewear - as long as it is clean and in good, rewearable condition. If you are in any doubt, ask yourself if you'd be happy to be gifted it in its current condition.

Can I try items on?

Yes, we will have an area curtained off for trying on clothing, with mirrors.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the Hub is on one level and has a fully accessible toilet.

Can I bring my children?

We anticipate this event to be a space for adults, however those aged 16+ are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. No alcohol is to be consumed by anyone under 18 years of age. All attendees must purchase a ticket.

Why are ReFab running a clothes swap?

We are a volunteer-led group who meet monthly to sew and craft new items from pre-loved textiles. We are passionate about reducing textile waste and see sharing and swapping clothing as a great step towards sustainable fashion.
