Does your wardrobe need an autumnal refresh? Swap old for new-to-you (for free!) at our clothes swap in The Up Garden in Forest Gate.

14:00-15:10 / Sign in and drop off donations

👕Bring up up to 5 items of clothing, in good, wearable condition. Please make a donation in order to take items from the swap.

✅Yes please: adult & children’s clothing, accessories & bags

❌No thanks: shoes, underwear, socks, tights, toys & bric-a-brac

💖Sign in and drop off your donations on arrival. You can then join the workshop (if you’ve booked), pop to the shops or head home until the event starts.

🪡Learn how to make simple clothing repairs by hand in this workshop with Barley from Fabrications.

15:15-15:30 / Intro To Colour Analysis by House of Colour

🎨Hear all about the fascinating world of colour analysis, start your journey to finding the colour pallete that compliments your features and learn how to build your wardrobe accordingly.

15:30-17:00 / Clothes Swap / Repairs / Colour Consultations

👖Swap: Swap up to 5 items from the rails. When you're ready to go, take your items to the welcome desk and we’ll count them out, which lets us capture the carbon savings for each type of garment!

You may also sign up to one of the following opportunities:

🪡Textile Repairs: An expert textile repairer will be carrying out free repairs and upcycling to make sure that you go away with garments you will love for years to come.

🍭Mini Colour Consultations: House of Colour is offering colour analysis warm/cool consultations to determine your colour palette and help you select clothes from the rail that compliment your features.

These activities are currently sold out, but speak to us on the day in case of last minute availability.

Advance Booking

If you're just coming to the clothes swap, you don't need to book and may drop in on the day. You only need to book in advance if you'd like to join a workshop, or have a repair or colour consultation. These are currently sold out, but please speak to us on the day if you'd like to join as there may be last minute availability.

Arrival After The Swap Starts

Donation drop-off beforehand helps the events run more efficiently. If you arrive after the clothes swap has started, you’re still welcome! We’ll ask you to sign in and drop off your items, with your donations kept for future events (they won’t be added to the rails this time).

Bag Drop

Before entering the swap area, please leave any large bags, suitcases or buggies in the bag drop area.
