Event Details

Superhighways started using Office 365 in 2013 and have since migrated 50 organisations from legacy, on premise systems to Microsoft's cloud.

In this session we will introduce Office 365 - not just email and file storage, but an amazing tool box of other useful apps that organisations often don't know about.

We will then share our recommended road map for migrating emails and data to Office 365, including useful checklists to document your current IT infrastructure and identify where you may need to upgrade e.g. broadband or operating systems for optimum user experiece.

We will give practical advice on moving your email and data to Office 365 as smoothly as possible and avoiding pitfalls, sharing experiences and learning from past migrations and clarifying the registration process.

This session is funded by DCMS as part of our Digital Leadership Programme and is open to CEOs, Senior Managers and Trustees of small charities in London and surrounding area.

Is this training for me?

This course is suitable for anyone with a strategic or operational management position in a small charity who wants to move their organisation to the cloud and maximising the potential organisational benefit this could bring.

By the end of the course you’ll be able to:

  • Plan your Office 365 migration road map

  • Register your organisation for the Microsoft Office 365 donation programme

  • Make the most of the range of Office 365 apps (in addition to email & file storage)

  • Implement additional cyber security features e.g. email encryption
