About this event

Booking for this club opens 1st June 2022.

“Clowning Around” is a 5-day circus-themed club recommending the Christian faith through a week of fun including challenges, drama, group competitions and more! We're open to p1-7's in the current academic year. The cost for the week is £20.

(We don't want finance to be a barrier to children attending Clowning Around, please get in touch with us before booking if that is the case for you and likewise if you have more than 2 children attending from the same family.)

Please read following info before you book.

You can request your child to be in a group with a friend of similar age but the groups span about 2 school years so, for example, a p6 wouldn't usually be able to be in with a p2 (but they'd be able to see their sister/brother in the hall.) There are 120 places available, children will be in groups of 15 with the same group leaders each day.

What if I need to cancel my place?

If you need to cancel, just click the Request Refund button. It's helpful if you can do this so we can re-allocate your space to someone on the waiting list.

Can I book for one day so my child can try out the club before booking more days?

If you buy the ticket but after the first day your child doesn't want to come back we can allocate you a 50% refund if you let us know.

My child has ASN, can you support them?

We are keen to support children with ASN to attend the club and would be happy to chat about supports we can offer. Please use the Contact button or msg Sarah on 07969 481646 so we can work out what is possible.

Does my child need to bring anything?

Just one snack and drink each day (no nuts, glass or fizzy juice please.)

What is your drop-off and pick-up procedure?

Drop-off - We don't open our doors in the morning until 10am so a queue will form at the appointed entrance. On the first day, registration will take longer than subsequent days.

Pick-up - On the permission slip there is an option to tick for your child to "leave the hall under their own steam". This is for older children who may be walking home or to a pre-arranged collection point. If this option isn't ticked, children will remain in their group with their leaders until their parent/carer comes over to the group to collect them. We don't operate a signing-out procedure and would encourage parents and children to have a "safe word" or a "code word" so that, in the event of an unexpected adult arriving to pick-up a child, the child can be sure that their parent/carer has given permission to collect them as they know the "safe word".
