We would like to welcome you to our upcoming event for The Business Chamber in Copenhagen, hosted by our venue partner The Great Wine and Design Experience.

The Chamber is set up for foreigners, expats and Danes to meet and connect both on a professional but also on a personal level. It can be difficult moving to another country and making meaningful connections, that is why we are here, where you can join The Business Chamber once a month (10 times a year) for our Club Drinks. We are a membership organisation and you are welcome to join with all the benefits it brings - you are welcome to try us out for free the few times - bring your friends and business contacts so you can meet people you otherwise would not have.

Our guest speaker will be Ilos Ilyas Elias Kirkan, with 3 take aways.

There will be a cash bar throughout the event.

Venue Partner - The Great Wine & Design Experience

The Great Wine & Design Experience, located at Kompagnistræde 30 in Copenhagen, is a sensory universe where wine, design, and art meet. Here you’ll find a carefully curated selection of organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wines from small, family-owned vineyards – handpicked with passion by sommelier Natalie Noryd. Co-hosted by Photographer, Gallerist and Event Manager Wilfred Gachau, our venue also features a design showroom showcasing unique Danish and Nordic craftsmanship, as well as a vibrant gallery with rotating art exhibitions. It’s a place where you can shop for wine, explore design, be inspired by art – or simply enjoy a pause in the heart of Copenhagen.

You also have the opportunity to purchase a ticket, which purchases two glasses of wine of your choice from the selection below:

• Celler Vell – Cava Brut, Penedès, Spain: Elegant and festive sparkling wine in a dry style, crafted in the traditional method from the classic grapes Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada.
• Sonnenmulde – Riesling 2023, Burgenland, Austria: Aromatic and refreshing dry Riesling with lively notes of citrus and gooseberry — crisp and thirst-quenching.
• Domaine d’O Chardonnay 2024, Languedoc, France: A youthful and vibrant Chardonnay with a touch of oak ageing, offering bright flavours of grapefruit and yellow apple.
• Château Pas Du Cerf – Club Rosé 2024, Provence, France: Classic Provence rosé in a pale and delicate style, made primarily from Grenache — light, fresh, and effortlessly elegant.
• Domaine d’O Pinot Noir 2024, Languedoc, France: Light-bodied and fruity Pinot Noir with expressive notes of red and dark berries. Smooth and versatile.
• Cornelio Dinastía – Terra Vella Petra Crianza 2022, Rioja, Spain: A rich and spicy red blend of Tempranillo and Graciano, aged for one year in French oak. Layers of cherry, blackberry, vanilla, and black pepper on a long, velvety finish.

The design showroom will feature an exhibition by the Danish-Kurdish artist Ilos Ilyas Elias Kirkan. He creates works where layers of collage, colour and texture unfold as a visual language for identity, belonging and the movement of life between different worlds. His art is both personal and universal, holding up a mirror of living in the tension between multiple cultures, and at the same time an invitation to feel recognition in belonging to everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Kirkan was born in Turkey in 1972 in Anatolia, Turkey as a Kurd, and he knew what it meant to be in a minority before hearing the term. As a child he moved to Denmark, where he quickly learned to adapt and carry a name that rarely fitted into the established framework.
