Event description

Description

Indulge yourself or your loved one by joining Club Gaia for a relaxing mini-retreat. A morning especially designed for "people makers" to:

Unwind, Rest and Rejuvenate

UNWIND: We start with a gentle, flowing yoga session to help you warm up, stretch and release tension before laying down on your yoga mat to enjoy a nourishing sound bath.

REST: A sound bath is a beautiful deep meditation experience using ancient instruments from around the world that can help you rest and relax. Using Drums, Tibetan singing bowls, Crystal bowls, Gongs and/ or Percussion. The tones are rich, pure and vibrant, and most sound participants find them deeply relaxing and rejuvenating.

REJUVENATE: A short talk on nutrition will follow and include lifestyle tips for busy mums on managing stress, improving sleep, keeping up energy levels and specific nutrient recommendations. This will be followed by a sweet energy boosting treat and a refreshing cuppa.

Caroline has taught yoga for over ten years in South London. She draws on her experience of various styles of yoga and in classes places emphasis on connecting movement with breath and self-enquiry. Expect a gentle, nurturing yoga practice giving you the ‘you’ time you deserve.

Nicola is qualified as a sound therapist and uses sound and music as a therapeutic tool for self-reflection, wellbeing and behavioural change. Based in Crystal palace she runs regular group sound baths, retreats, drumming circles, workshops and personal one to one sessions.

Alice BA (Hons), dipCNM, CNHC. Alice is a UK registered Nutritional Therapist with over 200 hours of clinical experience and is a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT). She uses nutrition and lifestyle changes to nourish and support the body and mind with the goal of feeling your best possible self. She had two babies over the course of the 3 years she studied to be a nutritional therapist so has some understanding of the mother’s invariable quest for a bit of rest and rejuvenation.
