Both international perfomers, Klio and Rebecca have been playing together in various instrumental combination since 2007. As a Duo they enjoy exploring old and new works, the distinct nature and colour of each instrument create a unique blend of sounds.
For CMR's first online event they will be presenting works by J.S.Bach and his son Carl Philippe Emmanuel, as well as by Handel and Beethoven amongst others.

Since the beginning of her career Klio Blonz has performed extensively both as a soloist and ensemble player in the UK and abroad. She has been broadcast by BBC Radio 3 and has appeared in Festivals and Concert Series such as Brighton Festival, Hurst Festival, Barnes Festival, Mayfield Festival, Prokofiev Festival, Peckham Arts Festival, Adur Arts Festival, Les Theophanies International Festival in the South of France, Festival of Dodekanison, Demetria Festival, Sani Festival, International Music Festival of Cyclades in Greece, the Blenheim Music Circle, Blackheath Halls Recitals and the Villelongue Abbey International concert series France to name but a few.
Klio tours regularly with AMALTHEA flute and harp Duo -Brighton Festival, Deverills Festival, Hurst Festival, Adur Arts Festival, King's Lynn Music Society and St Luke's Concert Series .She also works with international pianist Grace Mo, in 2017 they performed their program Tales Without Words at the Megaron Hall's International Chamber Music Series in Thessaloniki, Greece, receiving excellent reviews and in the Autumn 2018 they were joined by BBC Magazine Award Winner Fenella Humphreys and presented their Trio program 'A Musical Offering' at the Hanbury Weatlh Concert Series at Bishops Stortford and at St Luke's in Brighton.
Rebecca Hepplewhite (née Hewes) performs extensively throughout the UK and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician. Featured in the Sunday Times Top 10 for her performance of the Elgar Cello Concerto, she has performed all of the major concerto works across Europe, including tours of France, Spain and Ireland. As a chamber musician she has performed at venues including the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Purcell Room and Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
In 2009 she formed Svyati Duo with Julian Collings, and they have gained international acclaim as the UK's leading cello and organ duo. They regularly tour Asia and the USA in addition to performing extensively throughout the UK. They have released two critically-acclaimed recordings on the Regent Records label, with their third CD due for release in 2018.
As cellist with the Nephele Ensemble Rebecca has been the recipient of numerous awards and has performed in many prestigious concert series' and festivals. They have appeared on several CD releases and have commissioned many new works from leading British composers. Rebecca also enjoys a busy and varied concert diary with the Pomegranate Piano Trio, performing a rich array of imaginative programmes throughout the UK.
