Join us for our inaugural CNS Alumni Garden Party and Family Day, in conjunction with Heritage Day on Saturday 20th September between 12 and 3pm.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy an afternoon catching up with former staff and pupils of CNS.

View our extensive archive display and take a student guided tour around the school at our Heritage Day event.

Places for the garden party are limited and you will need to book tickets. Each ticket provides entry to the garden party, a welcome drink, live entertainment and a buffet.

This event is free to attend. However, we kindly invite you to consider adding a £5 donation per person when booking, to help cover event costs and support future alumni gatherings. Thank you for your generosity.

Tickets are not required for the Heritage Day event.

Bookings will close on Sunday 31st August 2025 or when the event reaches capacity.

What is the dress code?

The garden party is a casual event.

Can I bring dogs to the garden party?

Unfortunately, dogs are NOT permitted on the school grounds.

I am coming from outside of Norwich, is there somewhere I could store luggage?

There will be a designated room to store luggage in the school. Please let us know in advance if you require this service. Valuables are stored at your own risk.

Known locally as CNS, the City of Norwich School is a secondary school and Sixth Form on Eaton Road in Norwich. 

The school was estabished in 1910 and has been a key part of the educational landscape of Norwich and Norfolk ever since.  The school is very proud of its cultural heritage and it remains loyal to its historic roots whilst continually regenerating and redefining itself to meet the needs of all members of its community.
