Co-created Futures Conference
Overview
This conference will convene academics, policymakers, industry and community partners to showcase co-developed and co-produced environmental sustainability research across three themes:
Materials: Sustainable resource management, circular economy design, sustainable innovation
Energy: Transitioning to renewable sources, decarbonisation strategies and energy justice
Nature: Equitable land stewardship, sustainable agriculture and ecosystem restoration, conserving habitats, enhancing ecological networks, implementing nature-based solutions.
Keynote Speaker: Abigail Herron
Global Head of Health and Nature Policy at Aviva Investors, Abigail will share insights on sustainable finance, stewardship, and the role of institutional investors in shaping just futures. Her leadership in ESG and climate advocacy has made her a powerful voice for change.

- We also welcome any unconventional entries! Just drop us an email at sustainablefutures@manchester.ac.uk if you have any questions!
How to Enter:
- Create a poster based on the conference themes.
- Submit your entry to sustainablefutures@manchester.ac.uk by the 21/11/2025. (We'll print the posters out for you so don't worry about that)
- Include your name and School/Faculty.
Posters will be showcased at the Co-created Futures conference where attendees will vote for the best poster. Winning entries will be shared across our social media platforms!
