Co-creation with Early Years Children: Learnings from Energiser Fund Year 1
Overview
Co-creation with Early Years Children: Learnings from Year 1 of the Energiser Fund
Join us for a reflective and inspiring session designed for anyone working creatively with young children and passionate about centring their voices, views, and lived experiences.
Youth Music places youth voice at the heart of everything we do — we believe young people should be heard, empowered, and actively involved in shaping the work and organisations around them. But what does this look like for children under five? How do we understand and support Youth Voice when it comes from toddlers?
The Energiser Fund was launched to celebrate and energise creative practice with 2–4-year-olds, focusing on co-design and participation. Now, one year into the fund, we’re excited to share what we’ve learned.
In this session, Youth Music, Groundswell Arts, and the Energiser Fund research team will present insights from our 11 funded partners, exploring what youth voice can look like in the early years. We’ll share reflections to help individuals, organisations, and projects deepen their approach to co-creation with young children.
Whether you're an artist, educator, practitioner, or policymaker, this session offers valuable learning and inspiration for anyone committed to amplifying the voices of our youngest citizens.
Please let us know 24 hours before if you cannot make a session.
