Description

The Circle is working in partnership with UnLtd, Open Change and other stakeholders to deliver “Resilient Communities”, an exciting programme of support for individuals who have ideas to create positive change in Dundee. To launch Resilient Communities, The Circle proudly presents a programme of events as part of the 2018 Firestarter Festival. Come and join us to get your creative juices flowing and spark some ideas for change where you live!

Co-designing a Utopian Community through Placemaking:

This participatory design approaches workshop with Baxendale Lee Ivett, Dr Ambrose Gillick and Dr Daniel Wade will explore the use of creative tools for inspiring place making through an assets based approach (focusing on the strengths and potential of an area).

We'll look at how we can use creative action within our local communities and the role of social innovation and local democracy in creating vibrant and dynamic neighbourhoods.
