'Co-Mediation in half a Day' provides those with some knowledge of mediation and those experienced at mediation with a full understanding of the advantages and possibilities of Co-mediation in just half a day.

For those already qualified as a mediator or having already represented parties at mediation, this is a great way to refresh your knowledge and to mix with like minded professionals and potential new clients.

Topics covered will include:

  • If you’re a mediator is co-mediation right for you?

  • If you’re a solicitor or barrister is co-mediation right for your client?

  • The disadvantages of co-mediation (are there any?)

  • Choosing your co-mediators

  • If you’re a mediator how do you conduct a co-mediation?

  • If you’re a solicitor or barrister how do you conduct a co-mediation?

Your Trainers

Roger Levitt has been a property solicitor for 34 years and a civil and commercial mediator for the last 9 years. Roger has recently wound down his property legal practice to concentrate on mediation full time. Roger is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators senior mediation panel and is on the Panel of Clerksroom, regularly being in the top ten of their league table of all mediators. Roger is on the ADR-ODR International mediation panel. Roger has been involved in mediation training and awareness programmes in the UK for the last 5 years.

He trained as a mediator with the London School of Mediation and the Academy of Experts in 2009. He is a Civil Mediation Council Registered mediator and is on their Registration and Standards Committee. Roger is a member of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (Advisory Board), AMATI. The Commercial Mediation Group, The Property Litigation Association, The Law Society. The RICS working party on Mediation & co-author of the RICS Mediation Guide (1st Edition) January 2015. Member of Consensum Mediation, SLS Panel Member BIMA Founding member / Trustee (Belief in Mediation and Arbitration) a multi faith mediation group.

Roger holds an LLB Law Degree from LSE.

Gregory Hunt is the Founder & Manager Director of Hunt ADR Limited. He was a customer service trainer in the UK Civil Service for three years before he started his career in ADR in 1995. Since then he has regularly provided one-day training and awareness programmes in the UK, Europe, the US and the Far East. In 2017 he trained mediators in the UK and Poland.

He first trained as a mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in 2001, and retrained with CEDR in 2008. In 2017 he qualified as a mediator skills trainer with ADR-ODR International. He is a Member of the CIArb under its mediation and arbitration routes, and is a Statutory Member of CEDR. He is a Civil Mediation Council Registered Mediator and is found on a number of prominent mediator panels.

Gregory holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Business Administration from The University of Humberside; the Advanced Certificate in Administrative Management from The Institute of Administrative Management and the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He was a Chartered Marketer for more than a decade. He also holds a Certificate in Business Administration and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, The Federation of Small Businesses, The British Irish Chamber of Commerce and The Civil Mediation Council.
