Invite to attend Workshop to help Harrow develop a Co-Produced Suicide prevention Strategy
Harrow Public Health, Mind in Harrow, CNWL, and Lived experience representatives in Harrow are jointly leading the development of a Co-Produced Suicide Prevention Strategy as part of Harrow’s Mental Health Prevention work.
The strategy is shaped around four core themes:
Equip, Identify, Prevent, and Support.
We have already made meaningful progress through data analysis, early engagement, lived experience reps and partner input. To build on this, we are planning a series of at least three co-production workshops between September and December 2025.
We would like to invite you to attend the first workshop on Tuesday 16th September (in-person) between 11-4pm at Harrow Baptist Church, College Road Harrow HA1 1BA.
During this first workshop we will focus on hearing directly from people with lived experience of suicide, as well as their carers, families, and loved ones – particularly on the support they received, what was helpful, and what could be improved. We would love to hear from you.
We are inviting key representatives from the local authority, healthcare, voluntary and community sector, police, ambulance, and safeguarding to attend. Your presence will ensure that both frontline and strategic voices help shape this important work. The session also provides a vital opportunity to listen first-hand to the experiences of those with living experience.
