Coach Trip: SWT Rye Harbour
By RSPB Central London Local Group
Overview
Join us for a spring visit to SWT Rye Harbour in East Sussex, a dynamic coastal reserve on the edge of the English Channel.
On this trip we will explore Rye Harbour’s shingle, lagoons, and grazing marsh at the height of migration. Passage waders, gathering terns, Wheatear, and swallows provide constant movement, with the chance of additional coastal migrants.
PLEASE NOTE: This trip has no designated leader (subject to change) and will be self-guided. However, Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve plan to host a "Guide in a Hide" event on this day.
