Our new coaching circle format is an interactive, engaging exchange of experience and ideas to increase confidence and capability in different areas of leadership. We have teamed up with Ella Overshott and Andrew Loveless at Pecan to bring you a series of three sessions.

We help organisations engage everyone in their strategy, evolve their culture and become more customer-centric, establishing high performing teams at all levels. The world of work is changing ever faster and is increasingly uncertain. We help people unlock the creativity, energy and motivation to adapt quickly.

In this second session, Pecan will share insights and frameworks to

• Understand what ‘culture’ is – what shapes it and what shifts it
• Identify the unwritten rules in your team or organisation
• Prioritise the levers to pull to create a sustainable shift in culture
• Share best practice approaches to building high-performance culture remotely
• Appreciate the ‘watch-outs’ when evolving culture remotely and how to overcome them

The coaching approach to the circle will bring experience from the whole group to play and leave everyone with greater confidence in coaching others to perform at their best.

Ella has over 25 years’ experience in sales and operational leadership, culture change, employee engagement and coaching. Working across sectors including higher education, general retail, financial services, utilities and social enterprise, her background brings a practicality and commercial focus to the challenge of creating organisations where people love to work and clients love to do business. As director of a fast growth business over the last 7 years, serving multiple clients whilst bringing up a family, Ella appreciates the energy and balance required for sustained, healthy performance. Wellbeing, resilience and quality relationships are at the heart of achieving great results.

Women in the Law UK is a membership organisation, focusing on supporting the next leaders in Law and encouraging career progression and through personal development. The next stage is finding a way to progress social mobility in the profession and learning from our colleagues in Business. 

We are a women's professional networking organisation with events designed to encourage, inspire and support the next generation of Lawyers and Women in Business. Men and women welcome. Through our educational and professional personal development events we are empowering the next generation of leaders in the legal place.

We have a counsellor and psychologist who attends most of our events on a pro bono basis.
