Coaching credentials – ILM or ICF? (Elizabeth Crosse)
Coaching credentials can be a vexed question, both when developing a sustainable coaching capability and when deciding on a more personal level which qualification will best support your own career objectives. Internal coaches themselves often want to pursue the International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential yet organisations are often committed to the ILM route. To help you weigh up the pros and cons, Elizabeth Crosse (who delivers our ICF certified coach training programme and works with Charlie Warshawski in delivering our ILM Level 5 and Level 7 coaching and mentoring qualification programmes) will talk it through with you and answer any questions about the respective merits of the two qualification routes.
This is the perfect opportunity for:
- Organisations looking at in-house or external coaching credential programmes who need to choose between the ICF and ILM routes
- Individuals considering signing up to our open ICF programme to learn more about it first
