About this Event

Coaching Fishbowl: with Penny Moyle

Please note: This event is open to anyone with an interest in Business Coaching and/or Leadership Development.

Elective Hours: To book your place using your Elective Hours, please contact sophieford@meylercampbell.com

Virtual Connecting: Following this webinar, there will be an extra 30 minutes added to the session for an opportunity to virtually connect with your fellow attendees.

This Meyler Campbell Coaching Fishbowl will feature Faculty Member Penny Moyle as the coach for this virtual session. Penny is the former the CEO of OPP (now branded as The Myers-Briggs Company) and as such is an expert in coaching with the MBTI. Penny will show how personality type can be applied to real life coaching issues. The ‘fish’ for this webinar will already know their MBTI type, and Penny will demonstrate with the ‘fish’ how this knowledge of themselves and of this personality theory can be a useful tool in achieving their coaching goal(s).

This webinar will take attending coaches beyond the first steps of helping someone know which of the 16 MBTI types if their best fit, to thinking about the implications of personality for any number of coaching topics – seeing how it can provide a useful frame of reference and novel avenues to explore.

Penny will provide practical tips that coaches can use in their coaching sessions going forward:

  • how psychometric profiling can be applied to specific coaching topics and goals;
  • how the personality of the coach and client can play out in a coaching session; and
  • how self-awareness through the lens of personality type can provide a life-long toolkit to be revisited whenever new challenges arise

Penny’s coaching style helps her clients clarify their thinking and enables them to develop their own solutions. Penny understands that the client is the expert about themselves; and even when the coach is sharing their expertise, e.g. around a model of personality, that coaching is at its most powerful when we follow the client’s energy and interest.

Penny Moyle is a Faculty member at Meyler Campbell. Alongside her coaching practice and work she completes as Meyler Campbell Faculty, Penny is also the CEO of a small charity, Race Against Dementia. This position has her spanning the worlds of fast cars, celebrity, charity governance and dementia science.
