Unlocking Innovation
A mini-series of interactive workshops

Are you looking for your next brilliant idea for your business? What new service or product will meet the changing needs of your customers and help you stand out from the crowd? Are you stuck for where to go from here, or not sure how to evaluate your options? What’s stopping you from innovating...?

This brand new mini-series of coaching workshops, designed with The Harrison Network, has been created specifically for innovative Cumbrian SMEs who want to overcome barriers to innovation and grow their product range or service offer.

Session 1.

14th November 2019 – People First Conference Centre, Carlisle

8.30-12.30 (light lunch included)

This is an opportunity for you to explore the challenges your business faces currently from the point of view of your customer, your bottom line and the competition. This workshop will be driven by the challenges you bring, facilitated to allow the different viewpoints and expertise in the room to help you explore and identify the real barriers.

Session 2.

12th December 2019 – TBC

8.30 – 12.30 (light lunch included)

Bring your problem statement, now let’s get creative. How can we find ideas together? This workshop will be practical and fun; testing out different methods of unlocking creativity to allow you to come up with ideas.

We’ll test out some of these ideas with each other, look at how to overcome potential barriers, identify support requirements and commit to testing them further.

By the end of this session, you will have at least one innovative solution to test out with your clients!

Session 3.

16th January 2020 – TBC

8.30 – 12.30 (light lunch included)

We will follow up on your solution and the process with you. What worked / didn’t work? What has changed for you? How can you continuously innovate into the future and stay ahead of the competition?

What does innovation mean for your business now? What value does it create? How do you motivate, influence, plan, and communicate your innovation? How do you know it’s working? This final workshop is an opportunity to reflect on the process, tweak your ideas and get ahead of the competition.

In addition to the mini-series each business will be entitled to a 1:2:1 coaching session with the workshop leaders.

Please note: this is a series of workshops and you are signing up for all three dates.

Who is eligible to attend?

Businesses to Business SME’s – less than 250 FTE employees, turnover less than 50m euros or balance sheet total less than 43m euros.
