Coaching Forum - "Use of AI in coaching and consultancy"

This event is designed for existing experienced Coaches who would like access to CPD, supervision and a safe space to share ideas and learn.

The topic for this event is AI in coaching and consultancy. This is a topic that is erxptremely current and is something most people feel they need to know more about. When used well (and ethically) AI is a powerful and useful tool in any workplace. This can make you more efficient in back-office tasks but also may assist in some front facing work too.

Come along and explore the power of AI and how it can help to transform your work.

About the trainers:

Yvonne Vigar

Yvonne Vigar is an Executive Coach and Trainer supporting executives, and senior leaders across the South of England.

Prior to setting up her business Astara Consulting in 2013, Yvonne was an Associate and Deputy Director of Primary Care for a Primary Care Trust. Yvonne’s NHS career spanned 18 years in total where she gained significant leadership experience, working across multiple NHS organisations and within a range of fields including finance, performance, programme management and commissioning.

During her time at Somerset PCT, Yvonne qualified as an Executive Coach and NLP Practitioner and took the opportunity to Coach colleagues who were in difficulty. Yvonne was also involved in a programme supporting Clinicians and Senior Leaders prepare for leadership roles within the new CCG, by undertaking psychometric assessments, feedback and coaching.

As a consultant, Yvonne regularly supports clients from across the South West with a range of leadership issues such as developing a clear, compelling vision, strategy and reflecting on their leadership style to be most successful. Since the Covid pandemic there has been a real shift towards supporting clients with resilience, as individuals struggle to cope with the additional workload, patient demand, changing systems and management arrangements, alongside personal experience of covid.

Yvonne is well known across the South West for her specialism in primary care, regularly training GP practices in areas such as leadership, coaching skills, resilience, and conflict resolution; as well a providing 1-2-1 and group coaching.

David Holmes

David Holmes is a senior business leader, executive coach and mentor with many years experience of advising and supporting senior executives at Board level and other key positions. David works across a wide range of international organisations and industry sectors with clients across the EMEA theatre.

David works with senior executives to help them achieve significant shifts in thinking, helping them to develop their strategic focus and create a clear vision for success. His pragmatic approach gained in a successful corporate career spanning over 30 years, makes David ideally placed to act as a confidential sounding board who senior executives can work with openly on their business agendas.

Prior to founding The Transformational Leadership Group in 1992, David had a very successful career in the media sector, holding key board positions in a number of large international corporations. Whist operating at CEO and Board level his main leadership focus centered on strategy, organisational and business development, marketing, brand management and innovation.

As a consultant David believes in his own continuing professional development, he is accredited in Advanced Executive Coaching and a Member of the Association for Coaching. He is also certified in Career Counselling and is an NLP Business Practitioner.

He studied Foundations of Modern Psychology at Birkbeck London University and is accredited by the British Psychological Society in Occupational Testing with a focus on a wide range of Psychometric Instruments. David is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

David is also a lecturer for Yeovil College, specialising in Leadership and Coaching.
