Event description

Description

Developing a high quality and impactful coaching culture can be a powerful way to encourage teachers to become more reflective in their work and its impact on pupils. We have increasingly seen how schools and colleges have effectively engaged with coaching to facilitate reflective conversations to stimulate learning and growth.

The Teacher Development Trust is proud to present a one-day conference on ‘Coaching in Schools: Dialogue to Drive Performance’ which aims to further enhance your knowledge of effective coaching within an educational context. Whether you are a teacher or leader based in a school, or perhaps working in the education system more widely, we invite you to join us on Thursday 15th November 2018 in Manchester.

At this event we will explore:

  • How to grow and sustain a coaching culture
  • Improving communication to support change-management
  • The role of coaching in your wider CPD programme
  • How coaching can be used with a range of staff, from NQTs, to support staff, to experienced teachers
  • Coaching upwards - effective CPD for middle leaders

...and more to be confirmed!
