Coaching Skills for HR professionals

Please note this is a fee-paying workshop. Places will be limited to 20 delegates.

Organisations who adopt coaching demonstrate increased business performance and employee engagement. That’s why it’s important for HR professionals to have coaching skills.

By adding coaching to your professional toolkit, you'll benefit from more efficient and constructive conversations. Supporting managers and staff to identify outcomes, build on existing achievements and take progressive steps towards improved performance and results.

You are invited to join this intensive and experiential session, facilitated by Janine Waldman, to learn how to create and take advantage of coachable moments. From attending the workshop you will:

-Learn what coaching is and how it differs from mentoring and other developmental approaches

-Know when to coach and when to take a more direct approach

-Develop coaching skills, including listening and asking powerful questions

-Develop ways to build renewed motivation through feedback and other techniques

-Become more skilled at having direct, pragmatic and constructive conversations that lead to action

-Save time by inspiring others to step up and take responsibility

About the Facilitator

Janine Waldman MSc FCIPD has over 25 years of experience in her specialisms of executive coaching, training and facilitation as well as a wealth of expertise in organisational development. She has supported thousands of leaders, managers and professionals in developing their coaching skills, working with a wide variety of organisations including DP World, ICL Global, The Co-operative, John Laing, London Metropolitan Police, South Tyneside Council, Ashridge Business School and The Swiss Embassy.

ICF qualified, Janine has an international coaching practice and specialises in working with individuals and organisations to bring about positive change and implement constructive and resourceful ways of working. She is co-author of ‘Positively Speaking: The Art of Constructive Conversations with a Solutions Focus’ and ‘The Resilience Pocketbook’
