Coaching Skills: for Line Managers (ref. 111125MM)

Overview:

This is a full-day workshop for line managers which is designed to help you identify opportunities for having coaching-style conversations and to capitalise on them by developing coaching skills such as rapport building, deep listening and active questioning. The workshop is facilitated by an external provider and delivered virtually on 11th November 2025 - 9.30am-16.30pm. Tickets can be booked from 9.30am on Thursday 11th September 2025.

Workshop content:

The course will provide line managers with practical frameworks and techniques to apply directly back in the workplace. It shows how to create the environment within which a coachee has the space to explore a particular issue and come up with their own solutions and goals.

The content is designed to give you the skills to help the people around you to develop their skills, build on their strengths and progress their career.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for staff with line management responsibility within Natural England.

Please ensure you speak to your Line Manager before registering for this course to agree your personal learning objectives and include this is on your performance development plan.
