Coaching Skills for Mentors - changing habits and the coaching process
Wed 24 May 2017, 13:30 – 16:30 BST
THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR MENTORS VOLUNTEERING WITH EDINBURGH NAPIER UNIVERSITY'S EMPLOYER MENTORING PROGRAMME ONLY
Coaching someone to make a change means coaching them to make changes to their habits. Often it is not our intentions or goals that are letting us down, but the small decisions we make on a daily basis which undermine our progress.
In this workshop we will look at how to coach habit changes and how to maximise the chances of new habits becoming engrained and supporting our success. We will also look at this tool in the context of the coaching process so that you can apply it mentoring your student (and yourself).
This workshop is being delivered by Dave Jarrold of Silverback Coaching
