Coaching Supervision for Impact: with Nancy Glynn, Linda Feerick & Des O'Connell
Please note: This event is open to anyone with an interest in Business Coaching and/or Leadership Development.
Join Nancy Glynn, Linda Feerick, and Des O’Connell for an interactive webinar that will explore the impact and importance of Coaching Supervision. This session will demystify what Coaching Supervision is, why it is important and what it feels like. As experienced coaches themselves Des, Linda & Nancy have been in supervision since graduating from the Meyler Campbell Mastered Programme. They attribute supervision as the single most important contributor to the quality of their practices and their success and growth as coaches. Each has qualified as a Coaching Supervisor and will share with participants how supervision makes a difference.
Why Supervision?
Supervision builds confidence and ability to work with sticky situations, enhances knowledge and skill and enables vital inner growth that underpins the coach as instrument. It is a safe, stimulating, and restorative forum.
What happens in Supervision?
It can feel like a bit of a risk, sharing your coaching challenges with a supervisor and, in group supervision, in front of other coaches. There will be opportunities to discuss some approaches to individual and group supervision, both in terms of contracting and process, which will help you decide which is for you. Supervision is designed so that you find yourself among people who share your challenges, who want to create insights and ideas for learning and reflection, and who are generous in sharing their experiences.
What will it ‘feel’ like?
Coaches not familiar with supervision want to know what it will be like, what they will experience. Linda, Nancy, and Des will outline their thoughts on why it’s important that supervision be experienced as a safe place to explore our work as coaches. When that is the case we can feel free to bring anything and everything to supervision – our successes as well as our challenges. In that way it serves to nourish, support and shape us as we grow in our practice as coaches.
