Event Details

Arrive for networking at 17:45.  The speaker will start at 18:30.

Given the unprecedented level of change, uncertainty and ambiguity in external environments across all sectors, never has there been greater urgency to develop and support more effective, adaptive leaders and coaches. The Immunity to Change Process helps the individual to understand their Immunity Map and identifies what is blocking the changes that they are truly motivated to make. From here the process supports the individual to design research experiments to test the BIG Assumption holding them back. Working through the process develops new neural pathways in the brain and releases the Immune System so that this adaptive change can be successfully sustained and applied.

In this experiential, interactive session, Christine will introduce the Immunity to Change model (Kegan & Lahey). Following this there will be the opportunity for participants to experience working with process to create their distinctive Immunity Map.

The session is designed to provide the audience with the opportunity to:

  • Engage openly in a collaborative learning environment to support each other in more effectively facilitating change and transformation.
  • Appreciate the Immunity to Change model and the theory behind the model.
  • Provide an experiential journey working through one’s own ITC MAP while supporting a partner to do the same.
  • Develop a more in-depth insight into the cognitive, emotive and behavioural blockers to change in individual, teams and organisations.
  • Develop an additional coaching skill set and knowledge to support change in the workplace and with coaching clients.
  • Engage in small group discussion and exploration, sharing view points and insights from your current practice and experience.

Christine’s fast paced, interactive session will engage participants in a journey of discovery and exploration.
