Cob Building

Experience cob building with an introduction talk from Kate about

some amazing cob facts and a look at some photos of the cob

houses and sculptural buildings she has built.

- a brief look at the history of cob

- a detailed experience of at how to source the materials for cob,

clay sand, gravel and straw and mix it up correctly, including what

not to do!

-experience of cob building in real life working on building a wall of

a live cob build that is going on site.

-an experience of putting a window into a cob wall and sculpting

around it.

- a detailed look of how to use reclaimed / recycled materials in

cob wall building.
