Coca Cola - The Real Experience
Wed 7 December 2016, 11:15 – 17:00 GMT
We'll travel to Milton Keynes to visit the Coca-Cola site and gain a real understanding of how the business operates. You'll participate in a workshop reviewing how marketing, finance, operations, production and other areas of the business interlink with each other. A coach will be provided to and from the site. You'll need to provide your own lunch which you can eat on the coach on the way.
You'll also have a guided tour of the factory and see how various products are made.
This trip is open to final year undergraduate Business School students studying on the following programmes at Birmingham City University:
- Accounting and Finance
- Business and Finance
- Accountancy and Business
Please meet at the Curzon Building reception to board the coach.
As you will be undertaking a factory tour you must wear suitable, covered footwear. Heels, open toe shoes or sandals are strictly prohibited. Please note the factory viewing platform is elevated above the production hall. All visitors are therefore asked to wear suitable clothing e.g. trousers or a skirt of a suitable length. Jewellery is restricted to a wedding band and closed looped earrings only.
The University reserves the right to charge the full cost of a place in the case of non-attendance.
FInal year students can attend a maximum of one final year trip.
