About this event

We’re delighted to be joined by Coco Mellors, celebrating the much-anticipated publication of Blue Sisters, at Conway Hall.

From bestselling author of Cleopatra & Frankenstein, Blue Sisters is another enthralling examination of the intricacies of human nature and love, as three siblings from different corners of the world reunite in New York to mourn the loss of their fourth sister.

Blue Sisters tells the story of three exceptional - and exceptionally different - sisters as they return to their family home in New York from their respective lives in Paris, London and LA in the wake of the death of their beloved fourth sister. As they are reunited whilst attempting to cope with this terrible loss, they must navigate addiction, grief and ambition and learn what it takes to fall in love with life again.

Coco Mellors grew up in London and New York, where she received her MFA in fiction from New York University. Her first novel, Cleopatra and Frankenstein, was a Sunday Times bestseller, has been translated into over twenty languages, and is currently being adapted for television. She lives in New York with her husband and son.

Coco Mellors will be interviewed by Liv Little; a writer of Jamaican and Guyanese descent via South London. Liv tells stories with heart about the people and places that matter to her. Her work spans journalism, audio, TV and curatorial projects for which she's received various accolades. Liv is most at peace in nature, and she now lives by the sea. Rosewater is her debut novel.

Please note: Book and ticket option includes a copy of Blue Sisters (RRP. £16.99) which will be available for collection on the night.
