Room: Jock Colville, Stage 2

Code Club and CoderDojo are both global networks of free, volunteer-led coding clubs for young people. They are both part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a UK-based charity that works to put the power of digital making into the hands of people all over the world.

The global Code Club and CoderDojo communities are made up of thousands of educators and volunteers who donate their time and expertise to inspire the next generation to get coding.

This meetup is for existing and potential Code Club and CoderDojo volunteers, teachers, and mentors. It’s the perfect space for you to meet, chat, ask questions, and learn from each other in a fun, friendly, and informal environment.

We are delighted that this event is part of the 2019 Scratch Conference Europe, to find out more about the conference please visit https://scratchconferenceeurope.raspberrypi.org/ But the meetup is open to all of our teachers, volunteers and mentors.

Tim, Rosa and Nicola will be there to answer any questions you have about getting started with either programme. There will also be talks from community volunteers and mentors who will be sharing their expertise.

Drinks and snacks will be provided too!
