Event description

Description

Code Clubs are organised by Derby City Libraries and delivered by trained knowledgeable volunteers. Each club runs as a structured course lasting for around six months. Children learn the basics of computer programming using Scratch, including how to create simple computer games and animations.

Children attending must be aged from 9 to 13 years at the start of the course and must be a member of Derby City Libraries.

The club at Central Library is full at the present time.

The provisional start date for the next course is Saturday 3 March 2018

If your child is interested in taking part in this course or any other coding courses run by Derby City Libraries, please register their details here. These will be held on a secure waiting list and we will contact you as soon as the date of the next course is confirmed with further information on how to book a place.

When registering, please give the name of the child’s parent or carer, their email address and phone number(s) along with the child's name, their date of birth and library card number.
