Event description

Description

This Code Club is organised by the Radio Communication Museum of Great Britain located in Derby and sessions are run by trained volunteers. The club is for children aged 10 to 16 years and it's free to join.

Children learn the basics and more advanced aspects of computer programming and how to create computer games, animations and electronic control systems using Python. As the club develops, the children will learn to control electronic devices and even link to the International Space Station.

The course will run on Saturday mornings from 10.30 to 11.30 during term time, beginning 3rd June 2017. It will finish on Saturday 29 July 2017.

For children who are complete beginners, we run a SCRATCH Code Club, also on Saturdays, from 09:00 to 10:00 (please register on the separate event page)

When booking a place please register with green button above and then send an email to info@radiocommunicationmuseum.org giving the child’s name, date of birth and school along with the email address and phone number(s) of their parent or carer.

We will contact the child’s parent or carer to confirm their child’s place.

For more information or any questions email info@RadioCommunicationMuseum.org
