Description

Code Club is an international network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for young people aged 9-13. At Code Club, we think all children should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from.

Our projects are easy to follow, step-by-step guides which help young people learn to code. The projects gradually introduce coding concepts to allow young people to build their knowledge incrementally, which also means there’s no need for the adult running the session to be a computing expert. We also support active clubs with a range of extra resources.

At this session, you will find out more about how you can help get kids coding with Code Club, even if you don’t know a lot about technology. Kat Leadbetter, our International Programme Coordinator, will be on hand to welcome you to the community and tell you a little more about Code Club.

The session will cover:

  • What is Code Club?

  • How to start a Code Club

Who is the session for?

  • This session is perfect for anyone who is keen to offer a Code Club to their school community and develop their skills while teaching the next generation.

Register and we’ll send you a link to join the webinar the week before the session!

If you have any questions before the session, please get in touch by emailing us at hello@codeclubworld.org.

We look forward to meeting you there!
