COFA Training - The role & responsibilities of the COFA

This online training will cover the role and duties of the COFA, implementing systems to protect client money, manage breaches and risk, together with reporting.

It will also cover COFA tips and provide a hitlist of key tasks.

The training will include practical examples and case studies discussing whether a breach is material and COFA conundrums.

All of our online training is live and interactive, enabling you to liaise and pose questions to our experienced experts during the broadcast. All of the experts have worked, or work in legal practice, dealing with all aspects of legal finance, enabling them to share their in-depth knowledge and experience in compliance areas such as the changes to the SRA Accounts Rules.

They are broadcast live on the advertised date and time and can be continuously replayed for up to 30 days after broadcast. You will receive an email with the replay link as soon as possible once the webinar has concluded.

Upon completion of the online training you will be presented with a set of multiple choice questions to demonstrate your understanding. You are required to obtain a 75% pass rate in order to obtain the CPD points and certificate.

3 hours of CPD training applicable.

FAQs

Cancellation requests must be in writing. The fee remains payable and is non-refundable but delegates may transfer, on request, to another online training if appropriate, a discretionary fee may apply.

In the case of cancellation by the ILFM we will refund 100% of the fee, or allow a free transfer. In the event of a cancellation at any time by the ILFM, for whatever reason, liability will be limited to a refund of any delegate fee paid.

The ILFM accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, illness or otherwise which may be attributable to the facilities or services provided at any venue.
