Frequently asked questions

Who is this event for?

This event is for women and non-binary people aged 18 and older. You do not need a formal ADHD diagnosis - we believe self diagnosis is valid!

Why is there a charge to attend?

This will help us cover the costs of hiring a venue, providing refreshments, and supplying materials for the activities we often do, for example, arts and crafts, and games at Christmas. This will also allow us to fund some of the other expenses associated with running a charity.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring a support person or friend if it will help you feel more comfortable. Please note that anyone attending must book their own ticket, this would include your support person.

What should I bring?

Just yourself! Feel free to bring any personal items that make you comfortable or craft projects you are working on. The event is informal and relaxed and some crafting materials will be provided if you fancy getting crafty!

Is there a particular plan for the event?

It’s a casual social meet-up, so there’s no formal agenda - just good company, conversation, and community.

Are there accessibility considerations?

Yes, the venue is accessible, and we’re happy to accommodate any additional needs—please contact us if you require specific support.

What if I’m nervous or new to these kinds of events?

That’s completely okay! We’re a friendly, welcoming community, and many people are attending for the first time. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or need support before the event.

Will food and drink be provided?

Food and drink are not provided by us. Attendees will need to purchase their own refreshments at the café. Feel free to bring your favorite drink or snack if that makes you more comfortable!

What if I'm running late?

Please do not sweat it if you are running late - we totally get it! We don't mind if you are 5 minutes, or even 30 minutes late! We know how difficult time management can be.
