Description

Sacred Building, Here and Now: The Master Builders

Mark Leib

The European tradition of Earth healing and sacred building - The Master Builder tradition - was forgotten and almost lost. Thankfully, it has been carefully revived over the past five decades.

The core principle of the tradition is harmonisation - the process of establishing energetic accord and consonance within a built place or an environment. Once harmony is established, it initiates healing of not only the place, but also of our relationship to the place and of our relationship to ourselves. This profound ability of harmony to transform us and connect us back to the Soul of the Earth is a precious legacy of the Western tradition.

As we move deeper into situations of irreversible environmental scenarios, there has never been a time when the need for the Art of the Master Builders has been greater.

Who is Mark Leib?

Mark is an Interior Architect and designer. He studies and teaches the Art of the Master Builders and is a student of Master Geomancer Dominique Susani, an expert in the energetic harmonisation of houses, buildings and environment, and a well-respected authority on Earth energies and their impact on human beings.

This Master Builder tradition unites Celtic earth healing and geomancy with the classical disciplines of sacred geometry and the harmonic building of the ancient guilds of temple builders. The methods of the tradition were used to create the great medieval cathedrals of Europe, such as Chartres and in the construction of stone circles, cromlechs, dolmens and labyrinths.

This talk is the first in a series of 'Coffee, Culture, Cake' events.

Coffee, Culture, Cake
Curated Conversations with Living Tradition Bearers

People have long gathered in coffee houses to engage in dialogue and debate. It's a practice that's vital to a dynamic, well-functioning society and one of the reasons why coffee houses were called 'penny universities' back in the 17th and 18th Century.

'Coffee, Culture, Cake' events are part of this living tradition. Hosted at Saucer & Cup, an artisan coffee house in Wimbledon Park, the curated conversations bring together a unique group of living tradition bearers - architects, storytellers, educators, philosophers, musicians - to share their perspectives and join in conversation with you, to facilitate the kind of discussion that helps society flourish.

'Coffee, Culture, Cake' subverts the conventional lecture model. Rather than 'long time for talk - little time for questions', the format of these sessions is 'a little intro, lots of time for questions, and a meaningful summing up'.

Join us at for great coffee, great cake and—with your help—great conversations.
